Cats and wet wool

If cats don't like getting wet, why can they not resist lounging on a wet piece of knitting, set out for blocking?

The vest is from Knitting Classic Style by Veronique Avery. Denim by Paton's. Instead of a zipper closing, I'm going to use wooden buttons with loops.

The neck scarf is the latest Schoolhouse Press knit-along, the Icelandic neck scarf. I used some merino/alpaca blend that I bought at the Midwest Fiber and Folk Art Festival (great fun!) by Frontier Fiber Mill (Indiana). Turned out very small. I don't know what the gauge should have been but won't be as useful as Ishbel.

This afghan is one of the baby afghans due in December. The Hap Blanket in Whimsical Little Knits by Ysolda Teague. Ella Rae garter stitch center and border stripes in Feather and Fan of Frog Tree merino.

This isn't so much a picture of cats on wet wool, because the afghan has been blocked for about 24 hours, as it is of the older cat passing on her charms to the younger; Monkee has tricked Terry into being her protection for a nap on the afghan.
